I’ve been busy so I’ve fallen behind. Fate/Zero will be caught up on within the next couple weeks.

Winter 2012

I think I’m going to sit this season out and throw my resources into working on my visual novel. I’ll be back in the spring when Fate/Zero resumes.

JC Staff is, by my count, doing six shows this season.

Ano Natsu de Matteru, Bakuman S2, Kill Me Baby, Shakugan no Shana Final, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Act 2 & Zero no Tsukaima Final.

Luckily Bakuman and Kill Me Baby are less intensive but it is still quite the workload. I hope they have enough staff to keep from getting overworked.

Fate/Zero 13 – The Forbidden Banquet

If I had to pick a theme for this episode before the break, I would say that “entertainment” is what’s on the menu.

Fate/Zero 12 – The Grail’s Invitation

The majority of this episode focuses on Archer helping Kirei to understand why he asked the man to expend so much energy in determining the motivations of the other Masters.

Fate/Zero 11 – Grail Dialogue

The Holy Grail War is a contest in which the Grail itself seeks the most worthy bearer by summoning great heroes and pitting their wills against each other. This is usually accomplished by fighting until only a single servant remains.

Fate/Zero 10 – Rin’s Adventure

This week, ufotable chose to expand on Rin’s trip to Fuyuki to rescue her friend to make it fit the entire episode as well as give it a bit more of a happy ending.

Fate/Zero 09 – Lord and Vassel

A major theme in this episode is the fealty between master and servant, not just within the context of the Grail War but as a whole throughout humanity’s history.
